Girls: Think like a Man!

Last night a friend of mine recommended a movie based on Steve Harvey’s best-selling book “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy and Commitment.”  She said I would really like it, so I took her word and I watched it.

Tim Story directed the movie with a production budget of $12,000,000 and earned a worldwide total of $99,105, 477.

“Think Like a Man” is a romantic comedy and follows the same pattern as the movie “He’s not that into you.”

Enter the World of the Sharks!

At the beginning of my college career I always wondered if it was better to invest in other businesses or just build my own. Over time, and thanks to an excellent program brought by Mark Burnett Production with Sony Pictures and transmitted on ABC called "Shark Tank," I realized that you could reach a point in your career where you already have enough money to invest in a good idea or product.  By doing this you gain more money and help other entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

I’m a TV fan and I distinguish the good from the bad, and Shark Tank is definitely one of the best "Reality" shows I've ever seen. It is so good that it has been nominated for an Emmy Award in 2012 for the category of "Outstanding Reality Program"; I surely hope they win.

What exactly do they do in this program that makes it so interesting?

How to Reach the Top With Just a Video

Not so long ago we had the concept that to let the world know who we were, what we were doing, what our future was, or if we had a certain status, we had to contact a newspaper, magazine, television, radio station, or put an advertisement on a billboard.

Today we don’t need all that to "conquer the world," show who we are, or where we are going. It's amazing how everything has changed with the Internet. The world is more united than ever. We can be in Australia and we know what, who, how, and why people are doing things in Italy. This global revolution is happening thanks to sites like Youtube.com, Vimeo.com, and Ted.com among others.

Now, let’s analyze and talk a bit about how you can become really famous in seconds if you put your mind to it. The concept of this is simple: making a video and posting it on sites such as the ones mentioned above.

Lets talk about the biggest teen party in the United States…the “Teen Choice Awards.” The event was celebrated on Sunday July 22, 2012 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA presented by Fox Television with Demi Lovato as the host and Kevin Mchale from the show “Glee” as the co-host. They did a spectacular job together!

In the "Teen Choice Awards" teen-agers between the ages of 13 to 17 have the opportunity to choose their favorite celebrities by voting online at www.teenchoiceawards.com.

“Teen Choice Awards host and new The X Factor judge Demi Lovato said 134 million votes were cast for the 14th annual awards, which honor film, TV, music and sports stars in such silly categories as choice hottie, villain, liplock and hissy fit.”-  Hollywood Reporter

Young Star Making a Difference-“Straight But Not Narrow”

“Straight, gay & everything in between, why does it matter?” -SBNN

What would happen in the world if we were all alike? Unique people would not exist, we could not appreciate the differences among us . Life would be so sad and boring.
Actually it's great knowing that the world is not that way! Everyone is different and those differences are what make us unique individuals, independent beings with freedom of choice.

Unfortunately, life is not as easy for those who do not meet the "stereotype" that society imposes on you. Many suffer abuse because of their different ways and this issue starts in schools.

Though we must point out the existence of those of us who believe in change and if we all do our part we can make things better.

For this reason I am proud to inform you about an organization formed by young actor Avan Jogia teamed up with two graduates of Full Sail University, Heather Wilk and Andre Pochon (Cause Creative Marketing) against the abuse of gay youth and adolescents.
