Road to Hall of Fame- Full Sail University

Since we are in award season let me talk to you a little bit about one of the biggest celebrations my school has every year since 2009: Hall of Fame. During Hall of Fame, Full Sail University recognizes the amazing achievements of select graduates who have outshined in their career field.  The great thing of this event is that it’s not only a ceremony giving an award to each graduate; it’s a whole week of seminars and events committed to the students.

The Biggest celebration for Movies: The Oscars!

The biggest celebration for movies just happened this past weekend.  The Academy Awards or how everyone knows them “The Oscars,” is the biggest award celebration for outstanding filmmaking achievements.
Just so you know, last year the Academy signed a 6-year extension of their distribution contract with ABC, in which the event will be aired through this channel until 2020.
"We are excited to be able to extend our agreement to deliver the world's biggest celebration of entertainment to audiences around the globe. We look forward to building on the foundation of our relationship with the Academy, and working together to reach new audiences on new platforms in the years ahead."- Anne Sweeney

If you are a person interested in the Entertainment Law and enjoy learning new things within the subject, “Entertainment Law Update” podcast with Gordon Firemark will be very valuable for you.  On this 1-hour monthly show, attorneys Gordon Firemark and Tamera Bennett talk about some legal and business stories happening at the moment in the Entertainment industry. They give their opinion, analysis and legal advice.

By listening to these great lawyers I have learned a lot from different cases dealing with copyright, trademarks and breach of contract in the Film/TV industry.
